A nice way to honor your Dad.  I think my inspiration is more of a combination of those I have known through life.  It really is a composite.  

There are a lot of people from whom I derived my drive and inspiration but, like you, Rose Mary, my Dad sits at the top of that list.

He was a military man and a driven man that drilled 'Service before self' into our heads from early childhood on. I do know that I got my workaholism from him! 😝

my inspiration comes from the life itself. As my dad is saying, you can learn from anyone or anything on your way.

From my Mom. And her birthday will be in 3 days. We already made some plans. 

Hum, I've never thought about this before. I'd say my work ethic is from my mom and my "big picture" and go out and see the world attitude is from my dad. Neither went to college but, both were hard workers and did what it took to pay the bills. My dad was ex-navy and my mom was a single mom to 5 girls for more than half of my childhood. I learned many good lessons from both.

My inspiration? My grandson as of today. 

Definately my mom and looking back to 33 years ago when i started in this business working for her. Every day, night and weekend i was goven a task to do that others did not want to do, was a lesson that made me stronger today. It was not easier, it was tougher, far tougher on me than any one else, she exected more. 

DNA for me.

My drive and inspiration came from many over the years! My Dad was in the mix early. Today is also his birthday!

From my mother, she gave me my strenght by being strict in her way of raising me. She taught me to take care of myself and never to give up. I lost her almost 3 years ago and I still miss her.

My parents, older brother and parents of my best friend in Detroit were the original foundation that lead me in all aspects of my life.

My parents were hard driving business people and I have strived to pass this on to my kids as well.

My drive came from my parents, they both had great work ethics and were also a source of inspiration to me. They taught me never to become complacent or accept the status quo but to reach out of my comfort zone and always be learning or expanding my interests.

My drive and inspiration ... no parachute.  Nothing or no one to fall back on. 

I really don't know. My parents both died when I was quite young so I can't really say it was their influence. Perhaps it's in the genes. What I do know is I was very shy as a child.  Doing things well was a great confidence builder. How can you feel good about yourself if you don't do things to the best of your ability, with a constant striving for improvement?

we didn't have a pot to pee in or a window to throw it out of!!!!  we did have 3 babies.... all it took was the NEED to SUCCEED.... I did from my first year.... and my husband (at the time!) started his own business for environmental testing.... very successful too....  

I've been that way since I was a toddler... it's just part of my character and probably my DNA. I was not a child to whom you said "no you can't." The minute I heard that I found ways to show I could.

We were created and equipped to receive. When engaged it satisfies.....

Looking back my father was grooming me for Sales and Self Employment my entire childhood !

People-wise and event-wise:

Initially, my grandfather, then my step Dad and eventually me. I've been living on my own since 16 years of age, so I had to self motivate to survive; eventually to thrive. Along the way books, mentors, coaching and friends were huge in my life.

I think we are taught and inspired, but I believe people are born with or without drive and it's not enviromental.  I've seen greatness come from people with crappy parents and crappy come from great parenting.

My father and mother set good examples for me.

It is very nice to remember your dad in such a way.

My inspiration come from my family

My parents did not sacrifice the way they did for me to live as they did.

My siblings and I did not endure to continue in that reality.

Every new year I bring myself into remembrances of all that was overcome and am grateful and understand my responsibility is to succeed and to bring forward those who endure today.
