2 decades ago I listed a time share resort and managed and sold the time shares. We got a fee for managing and a commission on each unit. It was not as easy as some think and eventually when nearly all sold, they became self managed. Times got good and i went on to sell new construction for the same developer.

I had a couple of agents that sold timeshares previously and hated the high pressure of talking someone into using a credit card for something the consumer could not afford.
