Let me count the ways!

Pro: a well managed property will generate income and appreciate in value, while offering tax benefits to the owner.

Con: a poorly managed property will lose money for the owner in terms of vacancy rates, tenant nightmares, maintenance issues and ultimately, slowed appreciation.

A well-managed property can  impact value along with other factors.  As far as poor management, what do you think? 

if the property manager is not managing properly, the property will decline because of condition....

I have seen properties that are not very well managed and certainly bring down the value of homes next to them because they are an eye sore.

Poor tenant selection criteria

A poor property manage who does not properly maintain property, collect rents when do, evict tenants when appropriate and other wise under performs can certainly affect property value as it is reflected in the income to the owner.

Its just like washing your car if you are going to sell it. A clean car says much

What kind of property management are you referring to? General maintenance or property management services?

OMG- We have a property in an HOA- the management company is awful- so bad I have thought about selling- luckily, I sit on the board and we are actively looking at switching- it can affect property values-
