I do know of slack, I know many in the IT space who swear by it for communications.  I've used it as well as one of the support forums I used recently migrated to it.

Personally, I find it very difficult to use and not user friendly.

I was considering starting up a new escrow company a few months ago and looked into team communication options and was not impressed with Slack from a privacy and security standpoint.  I found Wire to be a better solution, especially with it's ability to securely conference in third parties who are outside the organization.

Just my two cents on the products.  If anyone here uses it, I bet it would be  Katerina Gasset.

P.S.  We get quite a few people disguising sales pitches as questions, hence some of the comments.

Count me amoung those who have never heard of it Ugi Djuric . The name Slack doesn't exactly make me thing of "Cutting Edge" which is what I want people to think of when they think of Bob Timm or Ward County Notary Service.

I use Slack daily, but not for RE purposes. The group I workout with communicate with Slack. 

sounds like you stopped at the wrong "battle ground".....

It's used by 600,000+ organizations and 10 million people daily according to their stats, so, pretty big.

I worry about getting hacked. Putting private information up to be shared seems like a good idea until someone is destructive. I've used it with Realtors - but I do not upload or download anything. I have an app that they can use; but this would duplicate the communication. - What would make the best communication and make deals flow? (Real estate transactions need to be in writing - but the tool we most often use is the cell phone.)  Can you show us in a post how Slack could aid and speed up a transaction? (Needs to include escrow, lender, insurance, agents and buyer and seller in 100% secure app)

I don't like using Slack for real estate or for any other niche. I like Monday.com and we use Trello. I use Trello for everything. I am a very visual person. I run all of my businesses on Trello. 

I've never heard of the company before now.

Never have visited the site. We are satuarated with too many 'bright and shiney tools' and are headed in the opposite direction of more face-to-face real person exposure rather than more web-based interaction. The ROI is more tangible and lucrative.
