Call them and ask for a refund. If not immediately refunded, call the credit card company and dispute the charge. It will be refunded one way or another.

The Maryland Convention in Ocean City was canceled about 5 years ago due to a hurricane and the hotel refunded $$. I'm  sure they will do the same for you all
