Hello Jack,

in some ways finding an old blog such as ActiveRainGuide is like finding an old newspaper in your basement.  It was accurate at the time, but may contain outdated information.  That guide was set up for a different time and a different place in ActiveRain's life when guidance on How To was needed more from ActiveRain management.  Over time, the venue for publishing that information shifted to be more internal to ActiveRain via managements blogs, the "Getting Started" link in the bottom right of the footer, etc.

Additionally, the community itself has become very capable of providing tutorials and advice, and the introduction of the Q&A section allowed for more immediate responses to others questions.

While there may be some outdated information on ActiveRainGuide, I'd venture that 99.99% of newcomers to ActiveRain will not find that Outside Blog but instead land here in the primary ActiveRain domain.
