Our CA contracts are already set up for co-listing and co-buyer representation.  Check the laws in your state and discuss with your broker. I get the sense that you may be referring to an agreement between the agents regarding who does what and how compensation is divided.  I do not have such an agreement.

No - nothing beyone putting the co-listing agents name on the listing agreement. Check with your Designated Broker if the other agent is outside of your office. But either way, here it would simply add the co listing agents name and office to the listing agreement. And write up something between you if there's questions about who's paying for the costs, who's doing what and how the commish is going to be disbursed.

We didn't have one in our MLS when I was active David Popoff. Each brokerage filled out a listing agreement , each stating that it was a co-listing with the other broker.

I do not co list, dont see any need for it or reason why. You should ask if your broker has a form they want you to use an dif they even allow it

OK, so . . . are you co-listing with another agent in your office?

An agent at another brokerage?

A brokerage in another state?

Riddle me these!

I have co-listed with brokers out of my state (where one does not have the license to list but has the 'boots on the ground' or localized market knowledge).

IN THAT EVENT, I use a broker engagement agreement which outlines who does what and who gets paid how much.

I never co-list but if I do, I will ask my broker whether he has a form for his agents for co-listing since listings belong to the broker.  If he doesn't I will add the agent's name to the listing agreement.  Then there will be a separate agreement between the agent and I for commission etc.

I don't have one.... but I did participate in co-listing a 30 lot subdivision about 35 years ago.... we create our own agreement..... worked well for both of us.... I'm sure it's a tougher situation now...

I have never co-listed, and as Sam Shueh and Kathleen Daniels have shared our listing agreement will work for co-listings (it's not uncommon at the high end)...but not for CT!
