That April Fool's is at the first of the month, not the end of it.  Facebook makes it's money off of selling your data and has consistently shown a strong disregard for privacy.  Remember when you used to be allowed to hide your profile from the search results?  I do.  That went away a decade or so ago.

 

The only reason he would say this now, is that he's losing users due to the numerous privacy issues and the selling of data, amongst other issues.  The millenials won't go to facebook because their folks are on it and the parents are leaving because of privacy invasions.
