I'm not one of those Realtors. They're talking about the members who go to all the meetings & get involved in all that peripheral stuff. I'm the kind of Realtor that has to earn a living so I sell houses. Make a commercial for Realtors that sell houses.

I told you how the concept needs to go. A buyer or seller sits in their hammock with a drink thinking everything is just perfect and the agent is so overpaid, and the agent behind the scenes is busting their ass. 💪👏👍

How about location shots instead of cardboard steps and obviously fake buildings and meeting rooms?  Cheesy.   IMHO, doesn't do anything to elevate the R.

For as many years as I've been a realtor it still sounds like a made up word that people still have trouble pronouncing.

So- these commercials at least show a semblance of what we do and how to pronounce what we do. I still prefer to call myself a real estate agent instead of a realtor.

I liked it a lot better than the prior ones.  I thought it did a good job of stating the differences between Realtors and non-Realtors, primarily the NAR ethics code (though it could have used some explaining) and the community/legislative involvement.  That's been pretty big out in Cali this last election cycle.

 

There are so few non-Realtor residential agents out here, it really isn't a good use of our dues to run these.  From a competing with portals standpoint or "why even bother using an agent" or "let's replace them all with block-heads-chains" standpoint it gives a little bit of reasons for the agent.  I still like Candice A. Donofrio's idea for a commercial the best.

 

I did find it funny to see a commercial deal happening as a Realtor.  Out here the vast majority of commercial agencies are non-realtor agencies.

I actually really liked it. I think it was trying to show how important it is to use a realtor rather than go unrepresented. It shows that we are more than house-selling robots, we are humans who care for other humans. 

 

I also really enjoyed the voice-over. He sounded very down to earth and relatable. I am excited to see what commercials come next in this ad campaign.

I haven't seen it and if you hate NAR you won't like it, if you like NAR then you will like it. It has nothing to do with the quailty of the ad in my opinion.

I just saw it, it's definitely a step up from the previous ones they put on the air. Not sure if the public cares or believes about the COE but at least the big R is being promoted.
