Is there a grammar lesson in here somewhere?  I read this post several times, even out loud and it makes little to no sense. If the poster is a mentor, I would hate to have him as mine.  But I love reading all of the comments by the professionals!

I do not consider myself an "amateur" but I fail to see a connection between "Big Head" and reading the question. Drive by comments for points have been here from the beginning.  Noticeably missing from the thread of this "question?" is any comment stating good question, thanks for asking. Don't get the type of response you're looking for? Ignore it and move on.  Reminds me of a time when one my kids was in preschool and some kids were not pleased with the type of cookie they were given at snack time and the teacher told them "You get what you get, and don't throw a fit".   Hope your day gets better.

Like you I too have observed that actually reading a question is optional on the AR Q&A section. If you pause for a moment, you can see this creates space for having a LOT of fun. So instead of ranting, have a little fun.

I like to ask a question in the title and reverse it in the text. By doing so, the skimmer and the readers are easily identified. You can identify the authors to pay attention to and who to ignore.

As a matter of reality, observing how agents respond to carefully crafted questions and selective words should prove indispensable for one who is a certified NLP mentor.

After all, we all know you are here to sell your specialty to established agents.  You may not be aware seasoned agents are ALL skeptical. but we do show how to get past the guard dogs. I would have thought you already knew but now I must question that.

What your experience on Active Rain will be is exactly what YOU make it. Please hit the restart and play again. Active Rain participants either have a short memory or are extremely forgiving.

Don't misinterpret what is happening here. No one is remarking on your the marketing image in your qeuestion. This is not a 'big head' thing. What is happening is the reaction to the perception the family has being attacked by one completely unqualified to do so.  We all endure criticism from our family, but from a stranger, possibly a fat head, an NLP certified mentor,  who has earned nothing from the family, I'm not so inclined to 'turn the other cheek." However, my memory retention is about 8.3174936285 nano seconds.

Maybe not the most artful way to make a point (no pun intended), but the sentiment that some people answer questions just for the points isn't wrong.  Those non responsive answers don't add to the discussion and can often distract from a good back and forth interaction in the answer section.

Here is the thing, read the question, read the answers already left. then add your answer but i also like to see why you answered that way on a question that has an opinion built in. Such as answering 8 is in stone. But asking do like ice cream? Then i want to know what ice cream you like and why? As far as your chart, i love when other agents dont follow up in my area as it means more clients for me.

Wow after reviewing the comments I can see how many amateurs and childish agents we have in the group... boy ...not lost for words....... I recently headed to Grant Cardone on Super Bowl Sunday weekend...gave up my Super Bowl tickets to sit with the Super Bowl stars of business .....sat in the front row...paid $15,000 and did not see anyone of you there.....

while many of you were at 

Inman or NAR..... drinking the cool aid of average content . ....  I hope I ruffled a few feathers, pissed off many of you, and I will build my empire with those that have thick skin... YOU are patehtic if you cannot handle the truth......10X it for those that want to succeed... Success is my Duty nothing else matters....and yes I waited this long to respond to find the Professionals from the amateurs....

NLP ( Neuro Lingustic Programing,  I assume) is not about this type of communication. At least not in my humble opinion. I guess the take away for me is this, " What are you trying to accomplish with this question? " Are you interested in pointing out how our inner communication and our auto-pilot thinking gets us in trouble? Are you trying to raise the bar of professionalism in our industry? Really, what is your goal and intent? I'm serious, would love to understand. Your motive baffles me and I'm curious. For the record, I always try to set my intent before speaking, and check in with my knowledge and experiences, self-awareness, and values and ethics. Deliberate and mindful thinking and communication is a discipline and skill set - it rarely begins with belittling other people. I would hope you would use your valuable communication skills ( NPL Certified Mentor) to foster dialog and put people at ease if you really want to have a discussion. My 2 cents.

By the way, if busy people sometime miss the point, or interject a comment that doesn't appear relevant is it really worth shaming them? What does that say about our ability to be compassionate and forgiving people. Finally, for those folks who use this platform solely as a points- getting forum, or to bully others, I choose to ignore them and move on. Law of attraction and all...
