Things change.  That may not be the case today.  I did a lot of short sales as well.  My focus was not on commission or dual agency ... it was on helping the homeowner avoid foreclosure.  I hope you find what you are looking for.

we never participated in short sales..... we were busy with new construction with subdivisions that were distressed.... banks were good to deal with....they didn't want those properties....

For a while I stopped taking HUD short sales as it was near impossible to get closed. Where as  could lost with nearly any other bank and get approvals in 45 day average. I am starting to do them again and the systems banks have are much better than 7 years ago
