I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. I agree with all of your points as well!

I have been through similar, although not via being hacked, and know what it's like...sorry you have to deal with this.

Some other things to do...

Use a reloadable credit card (such as AmEx) for onine purchases if PayPal is not accepted.

Use PayPal online as much as possible.

Pay cash for gas or use a prepaid VISA to pay at the pump so skimmers don't capture your CC information.

If available for your credit cards, set an alert to be notified of any "card not present transaction". VERY important...when I was a victim of crdit card fraud, the charges were all made online without the card.         

Add two factor authentication to your online banking.

And don't forget to change your passwords!

So sorry to hear, Chuck. Yep I have gotten new bank and credit cards several times. Thankfully that's the worst (no hacking) but such a pain. I check my credit cards and bank online weekly - I figure it's a good precaution.

    Oh, that is so sad, Chuck.  A friend of mine went through this recently.  They hacked his bank account, then changed his password and User ID.  It was a mess.

I had some one hack my fed ex account and re route my packages to a town one over. Police did nothing so i did my own stake out. I also canceled my fed ex account and worked with their security for the future

Chuck, sorry that happened to you.  It does suck.  I got a credit card letter in the mail last week that I did not sign up for.  Only way I found out is because have a freeze on my credit with each of the 3 main bureaus and the 3 smaller ones as well.

Google "Michael Bazzell online workbook" that should take you to a long workbook about freezing your credit and (the long part) removing your info from the 50+ data brokers out there.

I have freezes on my credit, monitoring services in place through the auto club, property title not in my own name and I monitor my property titles regularly too.  I also pay cash for most purchases and have "disposable" credit cards for online ones.  I've had many a credit card skimmed at gas pumps over the years.

I've been a victim as well - multiple times now that my info is out there.  It is seriously the worst feeling every.  I love your list of helpful tips.  The one tips I would add is to check your accounts regularly (I do it daily) and frequently change your passwords.  

Chuck, OH so sorry to hear.  I have a client that just got hacked too, he said it was a HUGE pain.
