After pasting it into AR, select all of your text and hit the Tx button on the toolbar to get rid of the formating, then reformat the text within the AR editor.

I type straight on Active Rain... no time for multiple steps. At the end of the day, it's not like I get measurable business from my blog here... so there's only so much time I will invest on writing my posts.

even if you copy and paste from word, you MUST format... the Tx button after you highlight the entire post... then make sure it's highlighted before you select your font size....

MS Word has a lot of formatting. May I suggest MS Notepad instead, cut and paste it to AR, then add your own HTML.

Don't use Word to create your posts - use something else like Notes or whatever the sister program is to Notes (on a PC). There is html code hidden in Word and it creates havoc on AR!

You should never use word, pick another program as it adds all kinds on nonsense code. Strip the whole post & start again.

Regardless of "how" it is published, the "why"-"what"-"when" of the world of glitches remains a mystery and an often asked question. "Who" knows
..the mystery continues as does the speculation...

Like Bob Crane says use the Tx function when you first copy and paste your text from Word. After that you can resize, highlight, etc.

I have tried many things over the years to circumvent the AR editor - it's really bad. My latest is Google Docs - not perfect either since I have to write it very plainly then add bold, italic, whatever else in Active Rain. And then sometimes it still looks wonky.

Yes to this statement & question...Let's find out Doctor Karen

The only thing I can add to whats already been said is that I've found I may have to go back several times and highlight the text that is incorrect more than once and hit that Tx button again. Also be sure you highlight the space before and after the paragraph in question or when you repost it the improper font may have moved down a paragraph. I was dealing with this just yesterday myself and I use Word Pad which is not supposed to have this problem anyway.

Try using Google docs, less issues. I type directly into the AR editor.
