Each of us has a different scenario of how we find our life today.  For me, I usually had Thanksgiving at my house with Family and Friends who had no family in the area. Now that my Mother and Father are elderly and our adult children have moved away, we usually go to a nice restaurant with my parents. This year we are taking a meal to them.   Happy Thanksgiving everyone !!!  In Everything Give Thanks.

3b. Walk at Presque Isle Peninsula with my daughter.

3c. Back home, I will bake pumpkin pies with my mother's recipe.

3.d-z Appetizers, cocktails and turkey feast at my daughter's home after the rest of the family arrives.

No work. We had dinner on Wed night with family and some other plans fell through on Thanksgiving Day due to family illness (nothing major just didn't want to catch it).

We put up our Christmas decorations and then treated ourselves to a nice dinner since we already had Thanksgiving leftovers for lunch from the night before. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

The flip crew was working today (their choice), so I was too.  Will be spending time with family and going to eat at a restaurant.  Like Christmas and New Year's Eve, Thanksgiving only takes up a small portion of the day so it's perfectly fine to work.  The local night club (that got shot up a couple weeks ago) used to always be open on Thanksgiving in the evening.  People typically have an early dinner and after a couple of hours, you're done.  Time to go out and dance!  It had a pretty good turnout most years.
