Don't be frustrated. Getting a "NO" is a part of lead generation and a part of life. Go forth and embrace the "no's" knowing the rejections are getting you closer to a "Yes".

Can't say I'd ever had a problem with it because I generate my own leads.

Many people in this AR crowd aren't fond of "warm-ish" leads like internet leads. If you do generate online leads there is a very specific process to conversion, and most agents don't want to put in the time for follow-up and/or see it as being pushy if they don't get a response from the lead right away. So, I think the biggest struggle with this type of lead generation (and there are lots of others, I'm just answering for this particular one) is persistence, giving up to soon, not being able to filter through good/bad leads or decipher what are good and bad leads, not enjoying making those phone calls and therefore not doing it, etc. -Kasey

The biggest obstacle is that agents don't follow up and the leads are cold.

Biggest Obstacle to getting leads is not time blocking enough prospecting time & biggest obstracle to converting them is a lack of follow-up!!!

Not knowing who the people are. 

Biggest obstacle is finding a serious buyer ... but they are there ... you just have to stay in touch on a regular basis and build rapport.

Get them out to develop relationships with face to face contacts. 

For effective lead generation, you need to set aside time each day for lead generation.

We have no real problem in generating leads. It is the conversion from lead to buyer/seller that takes time and effort and dedicated follow-up. Most agents give up on the lead conversion challenge.

I do not buy leads.

Biggest obstacle that I see is people being afraid to make the contacts either via phone or personal conversations.

I don't buy leads, prefer to do my own marketing and networking instead. Internet leads and leads that you buy may work for some of the people some of the time but they are not for me.

 A lead can have a fake email, a wrong phone number, Uncle Fester's address- buying leads is a batting average all I need is one hit and my average will be .001

 Don't buy them.   There are better more reliable ways to get leads.

It's all about consistent lead generation and follow up. But not anxious to say more to someone who won't identify him or herself.

The 2 biggest obstacles are getting real leads and getting them to sign. FIRST paid leads are junk, a waste of time and money. Generate your own leads such as through your active rain blog. Then reach out to them as soon as tehy inquire. 

Trust. Many of them had a negative experience or have not enough knowledge about the value of a good realtor on their side. Take time and patience to nurture and educate them. 

Internet based leads are close to worthness.  When someone says he justed start looking it may take 1 year of your time before he is ready.....

FEAR

Some web site visitors NEVER answer whether you email/text or call them.

The biggest obstacle is most agent will not prospect every day.

Laziness

Each one will be different so it is a case by case situation

Some time they will not sign a buyers agreement up front.
