Years ago but, unfortunately most people won't look at the top 3 spots, knowing those are ads (and now it STATES it beside the link).

I do have a web site that does well with SEO, and I personally work on it to be sure it ranks.   BUT, always looking at different ways to garner new business.

That's a good strategy if you have the money to do it - large companies have.

Most people, to this day, do not realize that the top spots are paid ads, so all they know is company x is all over page 1.

The term "expensive" is relative to the results. Everyone here would gladly pay 30% on the back end for a referral lead so why not spend that same money upfront and control your income instead of waiting for a referral. It is really about your return on your investment. Your ROI will depend on how you set up your account and how you work the leads but the potential is there.

The ADs gets the grease. Organic grown depends on SEO service. Our site is not one of them. Conditions have somewhat changed. Amazon got more ads followed by Social Media site like FB. Goog is not getting as much sales this year.

I am late to the party, but... Google Ad Words CAN be a good tool IF used correctly.
Google is a business, in it for the money like anyone else. The platform is difficult on purpose, because they want you to keep spending your money in hopes their ads will eventually work.

If you know the right strategies and have the time to research how to really benefit from Google's ad system, you can run well converting ads at a pretty fair rate.

I will add, Facebook ads are probably easier/more beneficial for real estate professionals... at least in the beginning

We have been very successful with Google Ads. It is a complex platform with many configurations and it takes a lot of time and focus to dial it in to get good conversions. I would only use Google Ads if you already have goal/conversion tracking turned on in Google Analytics and integrated with Google ads so you can track conversion rates and cost per lead.

I did Google ads.

I have never witnessed money burn so fast!

However, I HAVE PURCHASED, based on ads. Yep, the first 25 times I skipped right over them but somehow they eventually got past the RIS and BOOM I clicked and purchased.

It is exactly the same as stuffing a citizens mailbox....we keep doing it until they surrender. The difference is the Mailbox has about a 5% rate of response while the Google ad has a .006 response rate. The pile of cash needs to be bigger when harvesting low yield populations.
