Our MLS staff is wonderful! They are readily available when you phone them with questions and they have classes at brokerage offices to share tips & tricks with agents. 

Our MLS uses Paragon and it offered more tools than I ever familiarized myself with Morgan Taylor .

My quarterly dues supports them.

Our MLS includes subscriptions to NAR approved listing and sales forms catalog, along with a free subscription to Dot Loop. Our MLS search itself is worse now with a new vendor. I feel we lost technology not gained it. Having MLS is a must though to survive

       My Board uses Paragon.   Lots of tools, lots of links, including links to standard forms for both our Board's forms and Florida Realtors (State) forms.  

Yes, they do support us. Since the CT MLS's merged even moreso, the new MLS is really the best yet- many tools are included with the membership & they offer free classes to learn about using them. They also offer good technical support over the phone. SmartMLS gets the thumbs up from me!

I suppose it varies by MLS.  The MLS in my region of Central Washington is excellent and offers many support services for its membership.

Yes, many tools like Infosparks, public records, statisctics showing time, rental help, etc.  but many of them  are ''starter'' version: RPR, Remine, Rental check. 

They allow us to advertise our listings.

We have a surplus of tools and support available from our MLS, local board and our brokerage.

IT DOESN'T, I SUPPORT IT WITH MY MONTHLY FEES AND MY LISTINGS.

Ours is one of the oldest system in the country.  The site spams users with ads and things I can live without.   It is all dictated from NAR. 

I write my own code to analyze real estate data downloaded. 

Sometimes yes and sometimes no!

Mediocrity reins in MLS systems. If agents wanted great tech they would have to at least triple the dues.

They keep the cash flowing out of my account.

They brand my IP with their watermark and forbid me to do the same.

They 'sell' my stuff to the Evil Empire and compensate me in no way.

Actually, the whole MLS and NAR has outlived their usefulness. They have christened their replacement. Long live the Evil Empire.

The local association does 'support' by inviting vendors to throw out a nugget and then try to sell us the mine.

I support myself.  I find my MLS tools helpful and we have a great platform provider that is always making upgrades, we had an app to send to clients long before the masses.

I don't understand this question or the purpose for it. MLS provides me information on houses for sale and is a way for me to provide information about my listings. That is the primary purpose of the MLS. 

My MLS offers us tons of stuff that other across the nation do not for free. We have Cloud CMA, Remine, Showing Time, InfoSparks, New Home Source, whether the property is FHA approved or not, Realist & some national MLS besides RPR.

The MLS is a database and doesn't provide any support.  The association provides tools, training and support.
