We send out a monthly newsletter to our data base. It contains a quiz with a gift card as a prize for the first one who calls in with the answer. It always gets responses. It helps our newsletter to get read and keeps us in the minds of those who receive it.

I have not tried that but I think it'd be something easy & free to do & hey, you never know what just might work. Twitter offers the option to poll the public. Not sure what the whole citizen thing means, I would just ask that humans respond, lol.

It is something used in both politics and marketing. Where it looks like a poll is a commercial for that person or even a product. It is used widely in sites that give points for you to take surveys

With networking partners and clients, yes I use surveys, not quizzes.

A couple of times. Both were induced with car wash gift card. It turned out to be summer with kids stayed at home. The Monte Vista High (3rd highest SAT score public school in San Francisco Bay Area) Indians faxed the ans in.  I sent same flyers to other neighborhood. Hell, kids are too busy involved with computer games. Kids want $30 an hour to deliver fliers.  Go to Home Depot stand there.

Annette, yes I did in my 31 years of teaching!  I also used a TIZZ(long quiz) and a QUEST (short test)   ^_~

I found the best way to evaluate a student was a surprise quiz and you had instant results who had mastered the concepts/objectives and who did not.

I do not use that in real estate as I am retired from teaching and no longer grade evaluations.     ^_~
