I comment to comment, points don't matter, they just make it more fun to do so I suppose. I wish we didn't get points for commenting, it would remove the BS answers like "good luck".

There is a 10-word minimum with comments and you're credited for only 20 comments in one day. While you can certainly make more than 20 comments, you don't get points for anything over that.

Well, I just checked and have commented on 2 Blogs and 2 Q & A's today, and did get points for all.  So if it is working slow, that I do not know.  For me, I always write 'a few lines' (HA!), so I know I am over the 10 word criteria.  If you comment on more than 20 items, those 'extra and above' do not get points.  I hope you can get this fixed and get your points Peter Spain.

Thanks guys, I'm happy it works for you and I'll type some gibberish here to see if active rain comments points really does work. Here's hoping.

Once again hopes are dashed. This comment origially had 25 words but it makes no difference.

If anyone running the site get's a chance, can they unblock the points for me and switch it back on so that  get the same facility as those who it works for. I paid freely to use this platform in the hope that the options are available as a paid member.

Unless it's changed, there is a minimum of 50 characters (letters and spaces) that you need to get points, and then only 20 times per day
