I saw this a little bit ago. They also had to get their Broker's license in Arizona to be able to continue with their home buying program there.
My thoughts are: 1) Title and escrow are next. 2) If they reach critical mass of their owned homes they will become their own MLS and cut out agents completely. All they need is some minimum wage paper pusher to handle the paperwork and to field calls. A company can sell FSBO and have one of their employees do the transaction work, if my understanding of the rules is accurate.

I saw something on Zillows site (that I use for free rental advertising which btw is very effective) that they now give their opinion of what the home should rent for regardless of what the landlord says. I say $2800 Zillow says $2400 and the consumer accepts Zillows position eagerly! Following that thought/action they can now recommend lenders, appraisers, agents etc. & it is working. Why? How? Zillow has their firm foot in the Real Estate door. Like it or not...they are here to stay & play Real Estate
