I can't remember the last time I gave a client a paper copy of a document. All of my documents are prepared on-line, stored on-line, emailed to clients.

I don't need a receipt. Once I email the documents and they open the email, I have a tracking process that shows they received and opened the email.

I have apps on my phone that make it into my office away from my office. I can scan, make pdf documents, get into our Team Dropbox account, utilize DocuSign and more. I can store copies and I can provide copies (digital) to my clients and those who need them.

The vast majority of my document copies provided to my clients are sent via DocuSign. 

There are scanner apps you can use on your phone but, you can stop at any Kinkos or Staples, etc. to use their equipment to scan and email from there.

Can these be sent electronically? Our documents are all stored in the cloud and the agent can access these whereever they have an internet connection. The email for sending the documents acts as a receipt.  In the off chance your clients do not have a means to electronically receive documents, paper copies can always be picked up at the office.  Ask admin or your broker to make copies for pickup by your client.

1. Most all docs are signed electronically.  Copies are sent via email in pdf format. 

2. Receipt acknowledged by email. 

I use the tiny scanner app on my phone to take a photo of the document.  It automatically converts the image to a pdf and then I can save it to dropbox.  I give the client the originial.

So many ways to send documents electronically today. If you have your cell phone you are never really away from the office.

I guess I am the only person left that actually has them wait until a hard copy can be given.

I always have my laptop so easy access to them. In the rare spot i may not, i would use teh app on my phone and worst case take pictures of the docs and text or email

I can use an app on my phone to scan the document and then just text it or email it to the client who is standing right there.

I rarely have to provide hard copies, except for what I print for my own files. Scanned and emailed for electronic signatures is pretty much the norm.

I'm almost fully digital. I give copies only if I have to. 

Also I have a fully functional office at home and do not depend on my work office.

Cam scan on my phone does a nice job of creating pdf's from anything.

but for most agreements we just use dotloop, and email them a copy.

dotloop provides all the receipt of documents. camscanner app and email is an option for copies of documents not in Dotloop (yet).

 If it's a piece of paper, and not Form Simplicity or some other online forms program:

   Take a picture or scan with your smartphone.  Email it.  Ask them to email or text receipt.

That's CamScanner that is a great app for your phone to scan docs or DocuSign also has a mobile scanning option.  Both allow you to email pdfs, if that meets your needs.

That portable device we carry about has changed the way we can do business. Receipt comes in the form of acknowledgment via text or email.

It is that codger who says, "I ain't got no email' that truly disrupts how documents are signed and shared.

Docusign works great.

I use mailtrack, when I send them an email with attachments it records when they open the file.  Of course I save it should they say they never got it.  

I always provide copies for my clients, so when they sign the papers, I give them their hardcopy that I printed out for them. 

I have an app for that.  And also the contract isn't paper.

All my documents are available electronically... I can email them or if they are going to need signiatures or timestamps... I'll send via DotLoop. (most of the time)

I have two email addresses so I'll send the doucments and cc myself.

I use phone apps.

I rarely, if ever, print anything out.  eleictronic signatures all the way and emailed copies of all documents.   This way there is a record of all items given along with the times sent.

Using DocuSign provides immediate digital copies to all signatories.

No, but when I send them clients usually reply with "Thanks" which is enough of a receipt.
