A budget would be dependent upon which specific state this Warwick is in, and how big a building you want, and whether you want to purchase with tenants already in place, or without. Do you want a building that you need to fix up and then rent, or one that is fully rented and ready to go? What do you want your cap rate to be? Are you going to live in the house yourself or just rent it? What do you want to pay for taxes? What are the rental rates in the area? etc etc....  There is a lot that goes into figuring out whether a specific multi-family home is doable or not...

I've never seen a multi family home in an active adult community!!!!  they're maintenance free condos.... seniors do not want to kick in doors to collect rents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is nothing wrong with over 55 communities. Wish you luck. We have tons of them here in IL & people are as happy as can be there. All inclusive kinda place.

Typically multi family homes are not in over 55 communities. People buy in an over 55 community for less maintenance. Owning a multi family home is more maintenance, more work an more stress. Everything that goes against the reason to buy in an over 55 community.
