Check with your state laws regarding giveaways and prize drawings.  Tell them they are entered into a contest to win something.  They need to post a #hashtag so that you will find their entry.

     Be sure to cover every major social media platform.  Twitter, FB, Instagram, etc.

I did shopping cart advertising ONCE- - -one of the worse decisions I have evermade. Why don't you ask your market rep for a suggestion - mine left after he had my money. I know of success stories but I have none to share. 

Sorry, I have no idea! I drop my green bags in the seat and only see the head of the person advertising on the carts for 1/2 second so, I don't read a thing on them.

That said, besides friends who recognize you, have you gotten any real business from them?

#shoppingwithdana...Based on what I learned today at Inman you should have them post it on Instagram and post something like enter for this week's groceries paid by Dana Hill.  Fine tune the details and how much you plan to underwrite.

Yes, you should use a hashtag like "ShoppingwithDana".  This is a great idea Dana! It will really be great for branding and for credibility!

Something that when searched is across your entire presence.  Likely though that very few, if any, will do it.  Those things tend to have zero direct impact out here, but have some name/brand recognition qualities.  Most of the time some kid's arse or the reusable bags or a purse is blocking the ad.

The internet has changed advertsing from shotgun to specific target so this is not productive.

I'm sorry, but I don't do shopping carts... so really never give them any thought as to what marketing would work.

But please avoid those hashtags, they are annoying.

Have you gotten business from this?  I have always wondered if this form of advertising works.

you could do a monthly drawing.... share my ad, link my fb page and be entered into a drawing for a $25.00 gift card for the grocery store it's in and that might get folks sharing it and liking your page to see if they win.

Encouraging engagement is an EXCELLENT idea.

"100 Days of Summer' is a local publication where I reward those who post an image of them holding the publication at famous places. From the London Bridge, Eiffel Tower and Mt Rushmore, this Dunedin publication has legs.

The reward I would/will offer is a custom T-shirt with their posted image. You should make a few T's to model in your promoting so participants can demonstrate how creative they are. (Be aware, I also feature their trip experience in a local blog &  newsletter.)

My suggestion for you is to create a CTA that is more direct in generating 90 day business. "Get the value of your home, instantly, anonymously and at your convenience."  The QR or link or # takes them to the CISscore homepage.

PS: If the PURPOSE of the shopping cart advertising is for 'list building' then the post-a-photo is a viable idea. However, if the PURPOSE is to drive real/immediate/90 Day business, the post-a-pic is not well suited for keeping the mothership afloat. Purpose can be different for each agent but SUCCESS is spelled only one way and success always follows purpose in the dictionary.
