Well I was married to USPS and it would have been treasonous to NOT use them since they are paying for my retirement . . . but unfortunately if you really truly absolutely want it there overnight you need to FedEx it.
ExpressMail will NOT guarantee overnight delivery.
If you're sending where it probably will get there overnight anyway like us to Vegas . . . you can just send Priority Mail and get signature confirmation.
All 3 have tracking.

Depends on where they're going.  If local enough, I'll have a title rep deliver them.  If too far out for that, UPS/FedEx... anything that can be tracked.  No need for insurance, that's only for items of value (there is a basic level of insurance, IIRC).  I can send the tracking number to the other party if needed.

Either UPS or Fedex.  I want to be able to track them on line and be able to call and talk to someone if there's a problem.  If they are local I use messager/courier or I can be the courier.

We like FedEx.  They also have an early morning delivery 7:30AM.  When we used to press checks on brochures with a high end printing firm in Boston, they used to FedEx a press copy for us to review, make changes and approve. The digital is good, but not as good as the actual.  We would send it back that way to them.  A

I have a couple customers who don't use computers.  (It's odd, I know.  And they did this by design.)  Fed Ex has been good for me.  I've also had good success with USPS.  I stay away from Fed Ex Ground because it is much slower.

I virtually never send such documents and rarely receive.  So I have no preference... when I need such a service it depends on what I need and who can "deliver" at the most economic cost. I never need to sign at my end... packages can be left on my front porch where no one will touch them.

Any will work for me.

I use USPS. Download the USPS Mobile app (free, of course). You can check prices, schedule a pick-up, Click-N-Ship, get ZIP codes, track a package, buy stamps.

You can also hold mail for when you are away. And change your address.

Check this out: sign up for Informed Delivery and get an email each day with digital photos of the incoming mail envelopes so you can see what will be coming each day.

I don't send valuables by UPS the delivery guy used his scanner on a pick up and stole the box. I had no paper receipt.

USPS does insure, they aren't convenient as there is a line BUT I also had an Iphone stolen from the post office (employees who stole hundreds of white boxes- kinda blame Apple for sending obvious box) employees did time. Didn't get paid on the claim

I use a messenger company - Eclipse who are great and cheap

Fed Ex guy is cute and stops in asking for pick ups -
