 I can relate.  On Sunday, May 20, 2018, @ 2:00 pm, I fell. 

Four weeks+ later, today I am only using a tight wrap on my foot.  Still painful and slow getting around.  I am with ya, sister!!!

So sorry.  A few years back I was out for property inspection or maybe a walk through with the builder a couple days after surgery. You have to do what you have to do.

I don't attend pity parties by choice but I am sorry you are going through this.  Get well soon.

I was in my twenties last time I was on crutches. I spent a lot of time playing Super Mario Brothers.

Christine I feel for you AND this too will pass (as my Mom always said). I had a broken foot and wore a freaking huge boot for 3+ months a few years ago.  I know how NOT easy it is to show properties!  Hang in there!

Mark's dad had polio and I notice him years ago walked around with a cane. That was decades ago. That made an ever striking impression that there are those who are handicapped still have to make a living. Another Mark who is about 400 pounds in weight had to walk upstairs almost ran out of breath.  He is active professionally......

Yes, and it wasn't fun.  Amazing how exhausted you feel afterward!  Hope you feel better soon!

Broken Ankle! Ouch!!!!

A few years ago I abused my LCL that led to assisted hobbling. IT wasn't moving about that caused me the greatest inconvenience but sleeping. No position stopped the pain for very long.

Be aware, aspirin is a very effective blood thinner that can created unexpected alarms.

Here's wishing you  a speedy recovery and a triumphant return to a adrenalin pumping, active lifestyle.

I showed a property to my client with a walker because I just had both my knees replaced and I was 2 days out of the hospital. I hope your broken ankle heals fast. A walker makes you feel very very old...

No, but I did a thanksgiving buffet on them once, fractured leg.  Restaurant was so crowded I was almost knocked over by someone in the bar on the way to my seat!  It was nice how a path got cleared when I loudly and quite angrily yelled at the person and threatened to "put my crutches inside the rectum of the next person who didn't get the F out of my way."  I was like Moses parting the sea.  Sure made for a memorable night almost 20 years later!

No I haven't but it's got to be bad news when your buyer wants to see 2 stories only.

Just last weekend. The short story is got a tick, leg got infected, with weak leg fell down stairs the result was finding tick, 2 weeks antibiotics and crutches.

In 2012, I broke my ankle and only showed one house while I had the cast/crutches. It was too much of a pain to even GET to a showing since I couldn't drive. Then to get up stairs? Ugh. 

Always tough when you have obstacles, but your perseverance will prevail!

sorry to hear that.  I had a 4 inch screw go thru my foot and it took 4 weeks for it to heal and I could hardly walk but still did open houses.
