Old Republic's site should tell you what you need to know aside from the IRS's. I've done my 1031's with them, taken classes with them, and they're who I would suggest to my clients.

     Suggest:  find a local Intermediary (start with your Title Company or Title Attorney).  Set up a meeting or lunch; have them explain it. 

If you call your local 1031 exchange company, they can give you the info you need and answer any quetsions you may have.  They do this all day every day, so they are the ones to ask.  

They can give you pricing, timing, etc. 

Well, everywhere including here. It's a subject that everyone has an opinion on & they are wrong most of the time. Seek out a good attorney 1st off.

I checked your AR home page and website link. I am surprised that you are asking this question.

I just refer people to a tax attorney or CPA.  

Title companies may have some classes on it.  Also look for 1031 qualified administrators on google for your area.  They should have some resources and may be happy to give you a brief overview to get your client's future business.

There are several good suggestions here... just be sure you know the rules of deadlines and disqualifiers.

A Google search should provide lots of opportunities for reading and research. And perhaps a conversation with a 1031 exchange company

My research typically starts by asking Mr. Google.  From there, I start making calls and talking to the "experts".  I wish you all the best.

IRS website, call a title rep and get a referral to an exchange company in your city and meet with them. Since you are anonymous can't recommend locally for you. Call your CPA and get a referral. Don't try and be a tax expert, find one

Have you googled 1031 exchanges or asked Siri? Honestly, that is what I would do or contact and one of the handling companies and ask all your questions.
