I live 3 o minutes from the Ocean and the lakes region of NH. I do list and sell in both and both are affected by the seasons. Most buy in Spring. Most sellers want to list in fall after using it all summer. They find buyers looking in fall but who do not want to carry it all winter. 

No - we sell very few second homes here, Ginger. 

As for change of seasons - spring is our busiest of our 4 seasons.

Scottsdale is more resort-like than Phoenix and yes, it's seasonal.  All snow birds wisely leave the valley when it's so hot here. As do we quite often!!

Yes, we have a few resorts in San Diego. 

No, we're not seasonal here, pretty much 48/52 selling weeks here. 

And those 4 off weeks are a bit spread out: July 4 week, Sep-back to school week and 2 are during Christmas/New Years.

Not really a resort but lots of visitors for the summer and the holidays. Our seasonal changes are not significant, so no.

The tourist trade is important to Lancaster,PA !

I live in a town which definately has tourism as part of its economy. The summer season has an additional 20,000 "residents" estimated which impacts tremendously our business.

Yes and no.  We have a resort market as well as a traditional market here in NW Florida.  

I'm in CT, near Candlewood Lake. The Lake is pretty large; it touches 5 towns. People enjoy the parks & beaches, boating, dining & living on the Lake. The East side of CT has Casinos. I don't care much for gambling so I have only been there a few times. 

Close, but not in the resort area.  We are happy to live near Lake Erie & the beaches on Presque Isle Peninsula. 

Yes, most people want to be here during summer months not during our 'lake-effect' snow storms.

yes and absolutely.  I work on a lake and boating season (March to November) is much much better than December to February.

I live in a ski resort town in CO and the seasons are definitely different.  Persons visit in Winter to buy in Summer.  Also, Colorado has a consistent trend where more homes sell in warmer times than Winter.  

We live in the community of Valencia, California.  It's like living in Disneyland with all of the different themes within the area and the accessibility to other Southern California attractions.  It is not seasonal.  We have Six Flags Magic Mountain and even that have begun being open everyday of the year.

I live in the area known as America's Historic Triangle, Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg and Yorktown. In addition we have Busch Gardens and Water Country!

The dynamics of real estate here results in one demographic replacing another as the seasons change.  IF an agent specializes in SFH for those with kids in school. the seasons will significantly impact their business.  This is one of those issues a 'niche' marketing plan can backfire.

The Cocoa Beach area is a popular destination for tourists and snowbirds alike so stays busy pretty much year around. We have three seasons here so that does not have any impact on business.

Not a resort area, but definitely a destination City.   Yes, snowstorms do affect our business.

No I do not, if it is very cold people do not look for homes in Texas, and only when it is over 105 heat index do people stop and rarely does anyone come in the rain.
