Yes, I've been approached by both managing brokers and other agents.

We're contacted at least 2-3 times a month and have never even entertained the idea of switching brokerages. Then we got an offer from an energetic broker with an office full of hard working agents who  go the extra mile to service clients. 

Yes, by both.  I get letters, calls, and even text messages. They don't even know who they are recruiting.  When I explain the reason I went independent and why I would not join a brokerage ... there is a silent ... pause ... oh.

Managing brokers send me things. I'm not interested. One has their 'assistant' call which really aggravates me.

I have been --- it seems to go in cycles. Managing brokers/office managers seem to have a quota for obtaining those with results and experience especially from their competition.

When an agent calls it is clear they are involved in a MLM enterprise. Can you really trust what an agent says when you know they are building their residual income stream. Of course we already know you can never trust what a broker says.

I actively recruit for our agency.  It has been a long time since I've been recruited by another agency.  Most of our agents come from the recruiting by our agents. 

It seems like the only Realtors that actively recruit are KW agents and they paid if they are successful.

No.  They know better than to ask me if I'd rather play golf or sell real estate.  They do love the referrals I send, though.

  From time to time, by managing brokers.  Most of the "regulars" know me personally; they know that I am not shuttering my company, so they don't ask.  The most recent is a friend who bought a Big Company franchise.  My standard answer:  "I am honored, thanks, but no thanks".

I get phone calls from local brokers.

I get contacted all the time by Brokers or their Recruiters. I've been offered a variety of "sweetheart deals" to move but I am happy where I am. My broker is lucky to have me & vice versa. 

I also Recruit for my Agency. I hired 2 new Agents in the last 2 months with a large pipeline of new Agents completing their classes now.

Recruiting calls are part of life. From brokers and from brokerage people who make calls on behalf of the broker.

It seems all the big boxes have recruiters and they are ruthless in pestering everyone, including me. One with less than 2 years in the business, cracked me up as a 32 year veteran of real estate. I get offers from the franchises themselves as they look to take over our city. The offers though have been laughable if they want me to give up everything for a pay out that lacks enough pay to make it wrth while.  

the managing agents are always recruiting Tammy.... they know damn well she's not moving anywhere without me... love me, love my dog!!

It's usually by the division corporate office asking me to open a new branch for them.  Re/Max recruitted me rather heavily last year to open their third office in my area.  The year before that, a C21 office in the valley was recruitting me to be the office manager for an established branch.

I do - which is very odd as I am the managing Principal Broker. I also get calls from franchises trying to get a foothold locally.

The broker.  I have learned that when an agent recruits in some firms they get a cut of the commission, and it is a nice chunk of change when the person is a high producer, they can live on it.  And no, it is not the company you are thinking of. LOL A
