5 years. LOL!

I remember many years ago a buyer that was interviewing a few Exclusive Buyer Agents.

She and the husband spent 2 hours grilling me.  A few days later they called to let me know that they decided to work with me.

I rejected them.  I told them that if they analyzed the house like they did me, they would never get around to actually buying...

Normally is about an hour, but a couple of weeks ago, i too spent 3 hours at a home. It was worth it. I was grilled but asked lots of questins back. They were impressed becuase no other agents they interviewed asked what i asked. I got the listing

My longest listing was probably for about two hours but the actual listing presentation was over..The client wanted my ear and I let her hold it for the extra time..

Most of the day.

It was a home being sold by an out-of-state daughter due to the passing of her mother. She was in town for a limited time. We talked as she also admisistered to other necessities.

Mom had cages with several chimpanzee monkeys. The were kept in one bedroom and in the garage. The daughter worked with an animal sanctuary to relocate the monkeys. The sanctuary people were on site picking up the monkeys at the same time that the owner and I were discussing listing details.

That was my first listing! 

Sometimes fifteen minutes feels like an eternity while a couple hours just flies  by ... I try to stay focused without being a clock-watcher but still mindful of reality.

I sure would not be there for three hours.

I would say 2.5 hours & I had had enough. Are they questions or mostly chit chat?

We have always known right away!  Our reputation preceded us, so to speak.  A

I have to agree with Candice A. Donofrio. When each associate failed to perform I eventually get the nod. Never give up!

I'm sure we've spent 4-5 hours over 2-3 days helping calm the nerves of sellers who were afraid to pull the trigger.

My listing marathon would be more accurately described as going directly into step two and three. When I left the sign was in the front yard.

When those prospects pull out that 'LIST OF 711 Questions YOU MUST ASK YOUR AGENT BEFORE HIRING THEM,"  they downloaded from some agents website, I have to smile. 

Agents sure know how to generate the BS. Of course we know it all about THE AGENTS  Success Theater, Vanity Metrics and Surrogate Endpoints.

Maybe an hour. Three hours! After all that time, I hope they hired you!

Too long! Think it was between two and three hours!

Guessing 2.5 hours

Over two hours.

One hour.

  Presentation, one hour.   Yak yak and chat after getting the signatures, maybe an additional hour.

About an hour...

Mine was three hours.  Had the contract signed in under 30 mintues and spent the rest of the time giving them advice on fix-up, upgrades, staging, etc.

I have had many 3 hour appointments - most of those were because I was reviewing listing documents - they were signing the docs then and there. Then we tour the home, reviewing prep items together, making their to-do list. 

I have spent several hours at listing appointments.  The shortest one was when I had barely seen the house and a couple from another company came in for their appointment.

3, 4 hours but I will stick around & talk til I get it or it's clear that they are not signing. 

My goal is 1 hour but I recently went on an appointment that lasted for almost two hours.  I was honored to be chosen as their listing agent!

As long as it takes, I do not rush my sellers, but usually, we are fast and efficient. 

I’ve probably had a few that went that long. I like to interview the sellers as much as they’re interviewing me.  

About 4 1/2 hours...large farm.

I remember one being 3 1/2 hours but mostly because the children kept needing attention and interrupting.

I would guess that my longest one was about an hour and a half.  It was more general conversation than nuts and bolts about the listing.

I don't remember any that were particularly long.  Most were around an hour.
