Writing great content with relevant keywords.  That combined with working with a professional that understands SEO (really understands) and how to best structure content on the website.  I am working with such a person on revamping one of my sites.  
I am also integrating a series of professional videos.  
I expect the results will make me very happy I invested the time and money.

I learned long ago, listing leads are from offline marketing...specifically, direct mail postcards for me.... I complement that with a full page of newspaper marketing once a month....  I began incorporating online marketing in 2009 when I joined ActiveRain... prior to that, I did not know what a blog was....when you need to jump in, you just take a leap off the board and never miss a beat.... you learn from doing....from 2009, my various blogging sites complement my offline marketing....

Email, Brochures, Signage, Virtual Tours, Post cards, and social media ... and print media (but not as much as I used too.)

Yes but just the fact that your listings are out there helps you get other listings. I always mention the subdivision in my area in G+ & on YouTube. Works like a charm.

All of our listings came from referrals, and in the very beginning, we identified our marketplace and worked it daily.  We did what many are reluctant to do these days, talked to people, met people, got to know them, and they got to know us.  A

Over the years, listings have typically been from referrals, past clients/sphere of influence along with open house events/blogging.    For me, it's more of refining tthan redefinining.

Tim, I keep in touch with my sphere and the vast majority of my business is repeat/referral business. Farming is another way to supplement listings from my sphere and I am religious about sending those out too.

Blog, active rain, realty times, real bird, website, portals.  Happy enough with the results, still would like to see portals go away or pay the proper respect to the listing agent.

Hi Tim PropertyMinder (AccelerAgent) . I do a lot on line and I just did my first single property website posting. I don't know what the results will be but for $50. a year I am really excited at how great it looks.

Mentioning neighborhoods, zip codes and specific keywords gets properties found. The spiders crawl. Our job is to put out the great content.

Work by referrals for years. Price them right and word of mouth carries the day. Probably should have done more with social media.

Our team has a marketing division that is a machine - print, digital and dozens of open houses every week.

Facebook ads, postcards, market reports, blogging about seller topics, general online presence, detailed signage, and referrals tend to generate the most listings for me.

Market reports on ActiveRain draws a good traffic, PropertyMinder (AccelerAgent). 

the vast majority comes from word of mouth of my results.  But I also have "farmed" an area for a decade where I get 50% of the business.

Between blogging, advertising my current listings and a weekly radio show...I keep my pipeline filled.

    I have let my blogging and internet presence slide over the last year or so (not from neglect, but from deliberately slowing down to enjoy the year we lived on the coast).   I am in the process of revamping my social media presence, and creating a new website.

Blogs, multiple web sites, Realbird and social media.
