We have a large office, so the Staff Meetings (average 1 hour with different speakers) are weekly, followed by Home Tours (average is 5 homes).  If one attends 'both', it is only 2.5 hours Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®,CRS,.

And then every week we have at least a half dozen other training opportunities.

Yes, we do every Tuesday morning then go on tour of the new homes listed. Lately they have had to cancel some tours as there hasn't been any new homes listed. Attendance is not mandatory.

No meetings! That is just another reason why I am so happy I am with an Independent company & going on my 10 year anniversary there. I like to spend my work time working & focusing on results.

Yes. And I believe they provide a lot of information which can be very helpful.

no.... I hate them.... haven't had an office meeting for decades.... waste of time.... every agent has his/her own business and if there are issues, we're easy to find....

Ours is the first and third Wednesday of each month, starts at 09:30 sharp.  Because of State law we have a brick and mortar.  Also by statute we (brokers) have to keep our agents up to date on changes etc.  

We always had weekly meeting and, as far as I know, they still do.  Tuesday was the day and the whole tribe went out together and toured the offices new listings.

Hi Paul - We have two meetings a month on Tuesdays. We have 84 agents and maybe 30 attend. It isn't mandatory. I go to every meeting. My office is only 7 minutes from ny house. 

We have weekly meetings to go over our new listings, discuss the market and stats, and changes in the biz.  There is a ton of value in these meetings.

Usually is for training or CE only.

Monthly, we have online meetings. 

We try to meet monthly.  It doesn't always work out.  We are meeting tonight for a kick off the year dinner!  

We meet outside the office for breakfast, lunch or dinner.  As the broker, I pay the bill.  Breaking bread while meeting is productive for my team.

Quarterly sales meetings only and monthly classes or updates but, none are mandatory.

we have two offices but we only have the one office that meets .It is hard enough to get one office to meet  -- I agree I think it is productive also  - We usually have a guest speaker and lunch.   We meet monthly

    Glad to hear that you have "meaningful meetings".   In the past, I detested the weekly meetings at Coldwell Banker, and then at Century 21.  Some lender passing out flyers, then the agents take turns saying, "See my new listing" and "look what I sold this week", followed by the caravan/tour of the new office listings.   Total waste of time, shot up the entire day.

We do not... and that is one of the reasons I love my brokerage so much... no silly meetings.

One of the things I really enjoy about being part of a Keller Williams team is the company's approach to meetings.  Our office has one major meeting each month.  However, on just about any other day of the week, there are Masterminds, luxury meetings, training meetings, team meetings, etc.  None are required, you can select the ones you want to participate in.

Paul, not trying to be flippant but I think seales meetings are 99% of the time a waste of time and productivity.

No. Such meetings have no appeal for me.

Now, a meeting that helps me make a living that has offices stats attached, and a bagel or two, is much more appealing.

We had a meeting at the local golf course every Friday, after Ron played 9 holes with the two guys that worked with us.  It was debrief and fun.  We on occasion had great legal minds and other industry related experts come in to the office.  A

My office offers classes, but the marketing meetings are at our Association every Friday morning.

At my first brokerage, many years ago, there were weekly meatings. Some were educational, with guest speakers, most were focused on sharing information; others were plain painful.

I get with my agent oncea month.

We have them monthly at the moment. We use to have them weekly. I think 2 times a month would be good. However, we have so many opportunities to be in the office. There's daily training (mostly optional) and a monthly agent leadership council meeting. There are committees agents can join. Some agents have coaching with a productivity coach in the office on a weekly basis and others have it by phone. With the Internet (incl video), you can update agents on the local market, and mortgage rates. Agents just need to take advantage of what's available to them.
