I had one Anette. I did not last more than a year, and I did not like it as much as my older previous HPs. I thought it was going to be the better make, but alas not... it was a mistake from the beginning. Many little issues, when I started to have major problems, I needed customer support and all the calls were to a foreign nation where it was impossible to get someone who spoke sufficient English well enough so I could understand what they were saying. Let alone fix anything.

Then, they want to login into my computers - and that's a big no-no for me. A call to their USA head office lead nowhere. Needless to say, Epson could never get it to work properly again.

The Workforce finally became inoperative, and I'm not the type of person to waste any time on this. I gave it an unceremonious trip to the garbage bin - hundred of dollars down the drain. Good riddance!

Went back to a robust all-in-one HP and I've very happy, it's been totally problem free. And we have multiple users on it, so it gets a daily workout.

People like it when Richard gets mad at the office - then they get new equipment. Little time is wasted. There's a business to run.

Now you know.

Annette, I have an old Epson Workforce 845. My big complaint with it is that it dries out very quickly and I have to recalibrate it all the time to get decent print quality when I'm printing. Having said that, I rarely print anything on that printer. I have an old Ricoh that never dies and prints perfectly in black and white which is all that I need. So half of my problem with the Epson is that I don't use it enough for printing so it dries out. As far as scanning and everything else it's fine. But it's a small one.

I used to have the epson that was $10 or free with coupon.  Decent enough, but if you don't use them regularly the ink dries in the tubes and you're buying a new printer.

We just got rid of our Epson. Not sure what the model was but it was very high quality and expensive. The drum went out and to repair it would cost almost as much as a new one. We went back to HP.

Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 I can't answer that yet. My Brother laser printer bit the dust the other day. I found out it would cost more to rebuild it than buy a new printer. The toner was running over $500 for the high yield cartridges. Non Brother cartridges were cheaper but the print quality and issues were't worth the cheaper cost. I purchased an Epson Work-Force Pro WF-4734 last week. So far the only complaint I have is it doesn't have a single page feeder.

I have a cheap epson 640 now. Uses too much ink and ink costs too much. i just needed something quick one day. Normally, I would have checked wirecutter to see what they recommend. https://thewirecutter.com/?s=printers

I have a Workforce 30 & it's the fastest B&W printer around which is why I bought it. Ink usage is ok, much better than my previous Canon's.
