ask if they want to opt in for emailed market data? if you do market reports you can send them that monthly as a keep in touch way.  That brings me lots of business as I keep up with the market well.

decades ago, I participated in local home and trade shows.... rented a booth.... I put together a package of handouts and a CMA certificate in bags I bought from a supplier....decorated with a real estate theme... people loved them and I did get a listing from it....

Anything free people love! But I think you have it down

sounds good as you have it.  Try not to over think it... the main thing is to build engagement.

Give out certificates for free market analysis. Everybody gets one and if they don't own a home they can pass on to a friend.

I think this is at best, pot luck. You will make more sales as a member who can give great advice so treat this as just fun and don't tie getting info to the candy.

Debra Coray I would make a pre-printed card so they can add their information and a place to write down their guess. Keep the lid closed tight on the candy jar. LOL Great idea.

Um, I don't know, maybe something real estate related like some market stats for the area. Year over year reports and local trends might help. BTW, there are 562 pieces ofcandy in your jar!

     Check with your real estate commission and other government agencies for any rules or prohibitions regarding drawings, raffles, etc.  

Collecting contact info is important as is dispersing info, but the guessing game may be better served toward real estate.

Sounds like fun, and hope you get some leads.

Sounds like you already have some good ideas! Have them fill out fun-designed cards and you may want to ask on those cards if they are thinking of buying or selling and when. I wouldn't ask if they have a realtor - if they say yes, that would close a door for you to knock on.
