No. We already have a Facebook. This needs to be kept businesslike, raising its vibe, an expert's expert forum. Otherwise we're going to end up like Facebook groups and if you've been in those, they suck. Except for the secret private ones that we have none of y'all know about.

Not just yes but, HELL YES! I think the instant gratification is so prevalent in our world today, responding quickly to someone and resolving an issue for them is important to many of us.

I love our FB groups for that reason and I think we've lost a lot of members to FB because of that very feature - 'live chat.'

Invasive tracking, building dossiers on you (including your cell number) to sell to 3rd party marketers, censoring conservatives, Christians, and anybody else who doesn't march in lockstep with the PC culture, etc. etc.

Be aware, the ability to instantly REACT leads to greater volatility. Being aware of the what many feed their mind and spirit, such volatility bring on the vitriol, and great disappointment.

oh we used to "live chat" back in the day in the way of comment threads.  It was called post hijacking and it was awesome.

While I wouldn't mind a little lean toward Facebook, we don't really need this place to become less professional, and more social.

No, I think facebook should stay facebook.  Personally, I'm not a fan of FB and have been deleting my data from there over the last year or so.

I don't like the "reactions" because FB is using that to build a psychological profile of you to better market to you.

Better video integration would be good for those that like video.

I don't think live chat would be something I'd use.

If I want to post more photos of me, I'll just write a blog about it.

My vote would go along with others who have voiced their opposition to AR incorporating FB features. They are two separate entities.

I would say that platform works, but certainly is not up to par with a social media site. I am not sure that was it's intention however. The feature I would love the most is direct messaging between members.

No, a major update lke that would have major issues to the sight for months

Video content, we already can embed, link and use this powerful medium. I think categories on the front real estate for specific areas and regular blogging on those topics should be encouraged. Not hit or miss or just social. 

I would prefer to eliminate the 'like' feature in ActiveRain. 

Use Facebook for all of the benefits offered.

Possibly in violation of their protected patents.
