Please, please, please, the last thing we need is out of state brokers.  I have been lamenting that many local brokers are not watching over their agents enough, definitely not as much as they used to.  There are plenty of good companies with great brokers, but there are also some that shouldn't have people working under them.  I don't see out of state brokers making the situation any better.

Please keep your teaching focused on making Florida based agents and brokers better.

As a Florida agent who has a brokers license, I have no need for the course.

An increasing number of agents from the lands of the FROZEN CHOSEN are acquiring a license in FL in addition to what they currently have.

These are ships looking for a rock.  And they all sing the same chorus, 'We Got Ethics.' I see a problem.

While the thought appeals to me like a non-resident CCW does, I have no desire to do business in Florida, so it wouldn't benefit me.  Plus the cost and additional CE and fees would not be worth it to me unless I was doing business there.

I appreciate the offer though.

I would not be interested in getting an out of state or out of province real estate licence.  I don't think that would be serving my clinets very well, as I would not know the area... I don't see the value in it..  I have enough to do here in the area I service with nearly 4,000,000 people... lol

I might want to do the online thing if it were say, June, July, August. Being January, I may opt for a classroom setting. That being said, I think I would head to SoCal before I headed to FL. Like Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor,CRS,e-Pro, West is best for me, just a personal preference in coasts.

To my knowledge, that is not exactly true... There is only a handful of states that Florida recognizes reciprocally by "Mutual Recognition", CT being one of them. I got my Florida broker license that way after passing the Florida law test. Otherwise, I believe you need to be a Florida resident. Please correct me if I'm wrong or if the law had changed recently.

I wouldn't want a license in a state I have no business selling as I know nothing about the market.  I would rather refer my business to a knowledgeable, local agent.

I know west coast realtors who have licenses in Hawaii, Nevada, and California states together. They spend perhaps $3,000 in membership a year if they have broker designation. If they want a desk in each of these states it goes 5 figures.  I think Florida with a high concentration of retirees just about every other family moved down there has someone with a license.

I would not even though I own property in Florida. If I have a real estate need, I will refer it to one of the many professionals that I know and trust. I work my area and that is the way I intend it to stay.

LOL The responses you received made me laugh. I am licensed in the State of Florida and the State of Washington and just passed the State of Hawai'i broker exam in October 2017.

Yes... some people would gladly enroll if they did not have to be present in the State of Florida. Reaching them is challenging.
