Payment for blogging - YES! 

So far, no one has been willing to pay, in any form of currency, for my posts!

  I need to take a better look into this Alt-Coin thing.  

I would be happy to get paid for blogging, as long as I could cash them in before the next crash.

Yes I would. I don’t see why you shouldn’t accept any type of payment you are willing to accept. Some barter goods and services for their goods and/or services. Bitcoin may be up one day it may be down the next, but that could be said for other things as well.

The very first Bitcoin transaction was the purchase of two large pizzas in Jacksonville. They cost 10,000 bitcoins. 

At todays conversion rate those pizzas cost 150 MILLION DOLLARS!

Be aware, there are many BITCOIN exchanges were conversion to other currencies is easy.

The LIBERTARIAN foundation of BITCOIN is to bypass the banking system and to get the government out of the way and allow the anarchy of a true free market prevail. That sounds down right scary. Nearly as scary as a democracy, which is why the USA has a representative government, not a democracy.  The anarchy of a democracy in this age of social media would be scary indeed.

I would take bitcoin for payment all day long. Even if the value did not increase if someone is willing to pay with a different currency (that is valid and has value), it's money you may not have otherwise made if they were not going to use cash.

In fact, business should start to take it so tap into a new customer base; those who made money with bitcoin and will spend it differently than cash because they see it as all profit.

I would accept any that people want to give away becauase they are too risky or causing too much stress from.
