I get requests for BPOs all the time that I decline. Clear Capital is absolutely still in play, and they're one of the best in terms of interface, organization and quick payment.

I still do some for Clearcapital.com and Protk.com .... not a lot but some!

So many better ways to abuse yourself, concentrate on generating leads and get a part time job to pay the bills until you get a few listings.

The BPO world has transitioned. There are bpo mills that just give out bpo orders and do not list, manage or sell REO. They often look for an agent who will work for cheap and can be a pain with their QC for your willingness to work for little. Then there are the asset management companies that list, manage and sell REO that do assign bpos. Depending on your experience and past history with them, you can name your price for bpos if you can do a good job, do it quickly and get them right the first time. They grade you and award listings by your score and relationship you build with the asset managers. 

The thing is, that many companies will charge you to join their network. You need to do a big volume to make it worth it. You need to know who pays and who does not. I can say beware of companies out of CO, nothing against CO, but the 2 biggest non paying companies are from there, so google bpo complaints before taking work from a new company.

I make a good paycheck every week by doing bpos and gets me lots of REO listings. Sign up for a variety of companies and stay away from anything that asks you to pay. DO not take their low pay, ask for a higher pay, they want quality in the end.

I used to do them for Clear Capital back in the day. They had a good tracking system and paid promptly.

wrong market

  Not that many, like there was after the Crash 10 or 12 years ago.  A few brokers here have that market sewed up, along with the foreclosures.

None that I know of unless one is willing to participate in their real estate prostitution ring ... which I am not.  I hold myself to a much  ... much higher standard. 

I don't see many BPO's anymore in our area, they used to be more years ago.  I think they are paying very little but I guess it depends on the company. 

Haven't done them in years since the short sale days. Now unless one drops out I don't see new people coming in.

Us guys like me no longer bother with BPO's. That market is pretty much dead & buried. If I check the year end stats there will be probably 10 short sales in my entire town.

My owners mess with E&O.

I haven't heard of anyone in our area doing BPO's for decades.... they're a PITA

Never was a fan of doing BPO's, so can't help. As for E&O, who does your sponsoring broker use?

The few companies left seem to want you to basically do an appraisal for very little pay.
