One of our title company reps does this on the side, very reasonable I have heard.

I will likely invest in one of these soon since my properties are rather remote.

Photography and drone typically run me somewhere between $300 and $500- price is combined.depending on the size the house.
It’s more expensive to use an amateur or do it yourself then it is to hire professional.

rates vary , usually the typical photog is now doing this. frone alone is a few hundred , its the editing that takes time

Depends how many shots and if it is a bundle or not. If bundle, it is extra 200. 

I have found the rates to be all over the board and some of the quality is atrocious...

I would never do it myself - there aren't enough hours in the day to sell real estate and be my own photographer/videographer!

It depends, I have paid up to $600.  for drone video and professional photos and as low as $300. for drone video only.

I haven't had the reason to use a drone yet since listings are moving so quickly. That, and none of mine have been a good "fit" for needing those types of shots. 

I am seeing rates being comparable to other photography in my area though.

Fortunately, my stepson, who is licensed pilot, has a drone.  He uses it for fun and a few 'for-hire' jobs in Ohio, where he lives & works.

Each market is different, and unless you are listing large properties like ranches, farms, vineyards, or estates, we really would not recommend drone photography.  And if you are selling these on a regular basis, you are better off hiring a professional to do the job, because it is not what you do best.  Agents who do that realize that their time is better spent listing and selling, and not being a photographer..  A

I was at Costco & I saw a camera drone for sale for about $1,000. I suppose you could spend a lot more or less too. Anyway, I would base my decision on how many times I'd be using it. If the need was isolated to one current listing  I'd hire someone.

I would like to buy one, but then there is being licensed which can be an issue, it's on my bucket list.

Very little of it around here, but I have seen some rates advertised in my email, and they seemed quite high. I seem to remember one was $500.00 for a basic package.

I don't use drones, if I did, I'd just buy it myself to have the toy!  Plus with decent quality ones being only $150-$170 on Amazon, it's cheaper than hiring someone!

The rates are all over the board. I do not do any kind of photography myself... it's always less expensive and higher quality when a professional does it. 

I bought one and was practicing, but being snowed in now, has hindered my practice before i use on anyone elses home. 

Have not inquired locally. I will use professionals for this service. 

I have never checked on rates.

For the professional pics 150.00 - I don't take the pics anymore unless it's an investment property that needs lots of work...

It is usually blended into the regular pictures so it varies.

Our prices vary so much based on the property being photographed and the package purchased.  As little as $150 for one drone photo of a small property plus 25 interior up to ??? for a large property.

I have no desire to take drone video on myself.  Rates in my area vary.

I got a cheap one to play with for Christmas.  If it turns out to be a good thing, I will up grade.

It is on my bucket list. I know there is a learning curb plus license. I want to get an indoor-outdoor Drone.

Unfortunatelly, I don't use drone, we order a professional drone photographer. 

Even for condos - we like to have a pictures or vides done by drone.

Minimum is around $200 but pardon my pun, the sky is the limit. I have a drone now although not skillful enough to produce a decent video yet.
