Being honest.

You bet I do. The difference with these two months is the work is more 'ON MY BUSINESS and less of IN MY BUSINESS. December has historically been a busy month in real estate with lots of 'in my business' work.

Those two months that's all I do! December's for wrapping up commercial stuff, January's for firing up residential.

Yes, doing everything I usually do but in less amount.

I'd say about the same. January tends to be busy.

December has always been just another month until this year when I am tending to goof off more and work less! And, it's a good plan!

SO far I have worked as much in December as i do any other month. There was no December slow down for the first couple of weeks. Although calls to see homes slows, the calls that do come are ready to buy now. Also very busy closing all of the fall's sales

Yes, a zillion things to get done.

Busy for investment clients trying to buy/sell before the end of the year and folks moving to the area for work.

Some years, it's crazy busy, but most years, things slow down enough for me to get caught up on other things. In 2015, I sold 13 homes the first 13 days. That was an anomaly. 

To be honest, foe some reason I do work more from December to February.  I don't know why but these are good months for  me.

yes, we are all working everyday..... it's tiring, only because it's not the only task for Dec.... I have cooking, baking and shopping....

work schedule does not change in Dec/Jan, no rest for the competent.

These are productive times for smart real estate professionals.

I don't need to watch a video.  I know people buy and sell in Dec and Jan.

The Charlotte market is insane right now...and I don't see it letting up in January. Typically January is our slower month though.

I don't see a great deal of "income" during that period of time, but I'm always working, year 'round.

Yes. Entered 2 new lot listings yesterday. Will take some photos today or tomorrow depending on weather.

Every market is different but, regardless of the time of year, if you're not busy with business you should be working on the things that will generate business in the future.  Planning, prospecting, blogging, networking, website work, etc. 

Right now, it's the hottest time of the year!

Yes, last year I was able to work alot on internal operations/marketing over the holidays.  This December has been busy so far, and I'm hoping to have some time to work internally on my business again in a week or so.  

December and Janaury are great opportunities to do business planning for next year.

I work harder December and January, and it usually pays off. We will see....

Up here in the cold north, from mid-December to mid-January... there are definitely fewer sales and listings.  For some reason people do not like to go out to view homes or move at -30C... or during a snow storm!

The past 2 years, absolutely.  Just deals taht happened to come up at that time.  I dont do any extra marketing, etc but continue the people I have.  Keeps me busy. 

People during this time are very motivated too.

 I don't know how to be anything but honest.  

HELL YES I work as much ... this month I am working MORE.  Nothing else is getting done in my work except for work stuff.  No shopping, no cooking, no cleaning, less sleeping ... you get the idea!

When the market slows I work on continuing education and prospecting in both December and January did work really well last year and i had my best year ever...

While in the past this time of year is a slow period, this year, it's been very busy. Buyers are more serious than in the warmer months

Tinkering on platforms, investing in new programs and hardware to make things more efficient happens as snow piles up. Real estate is a jealous master, a heck of a sport. Keep up or get run over. In  South Florida you better be hitting the ground running by January 2nd or the year could quickly become a wash. 80% of my business is confined to January through May.

More than summer as far as transaction closing wise.

Yes, I always work. Police, doctors, sales people, everyone is working regardless of holidays or season.
