I have two that I can think of. One is a customer who I spoke with 8 years ago, called me and when I asked him how he remembered me, he said he still had my business card with him. The other was just last week. I spoke with a customer one time about a purchase loan with an agent I'm working with. When I met the agent at another closing, she gave me a jar of pickled green beans and a jar of Apple butter and said it was from that customer. My first few years in business I sent congratulations letter with the birth announcements from the local paper. (because Howard Brinton told me to) This lady kept it all those years, referred her MIL, brother, friends. She was  awesome. They lived in a two bedroom apt with their three kids while she was in nursing school so they could afford the downpayement.
