Toys For Tots

I support several local and national charities. I know that national charities are getting a bad rap these days, but they probably help more people in different ways than the smaller ones.

One local charity I like to support is The Phoenix Rescue Mission. You can see the money goes directly to the less fortunate in the form of meals, clothing and shelter.

I've been working with Toys for Tots since 1997. I appreciate what the Marines do and it is an honor to help them.  

Salvation Army, Rotary, local Cary Library, Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum are a few.

We have many, and add a new one each year.

I wished I could give more --- so many great opportunities to share....as far as favorites...that is evloving....like life...

giving towards a single mom's dinner event at my church... compassion children's charity ... and .. samaritan's purse Christmas drive.

A local Christian ministry, and the Salvation Army.

Plus, cat food to the local animal shelter, and donations to St. Francis Wildlife Association.

I don't think I have a favorite anything. Some goes to Hospice, some to animal care, etc.

Nowadays, many charities need financial help.

I have several favorites. 

Wings of Rescue - they fly dogs & cats for free all over the U.S. for new homes.

Time (tons) and money to the Boy Scouts and Junior League. I like to vounteer with my family at the local food bank as well. I also tend to give to the drives for local schools (not that they are really charities) and I like giving "gifts" from Heifer International as their gifts keep on giving.

Several local charities.  Specifically, Women's Resource Center, Homeless Shelter, Salvation Army and Youth Golf.

I support many and I like them all the same.

Malibu Mountain Rescue Team.  I give my time year round.

I like those charities the ease the suffering of human beings.

For me it is the Salvation Army for a national program and several that are very local.

I lean towards children's charities!

animal shelter. Going there now, dry towels, money. They got a big grant to exand next year.

Animals. Veterans. Top two for me.  There are others however they don't get as much.

I have several favorites in addition to my local church: Samaratin's Purse, Focus on the Family, Precept Ministries.

Salvation Army and the Shalom Center

The Kentucky Colonels & their good works program. I'm really impressed with the Honor Flights, sending WWII & Korean Vets off to DC to see their monuments. Also like charities helping our Vets for their service.

My local church is #1 on my list. Then I try to focus on small groups designed to help widows and orphans.
