It depends what it is and who it is. I had a mutual friend, new to the business, post the listing of another agent and suggest the kind of buyer who should check it out. Yikes! I sent her an email with the fair housing link. No one in her large agency told her but a couple complained to her broker.

I'm all knowing so I always correct them! Idiots take note! I'm coming after you if you are blatantly a dumb A**! 

Truth extends to my nose and does not go beyond.

Most of the time I just ignore it unless it is going to affect someone negatively.

It is rude to correct in public, so I try to avoid doing so unless it is something where numerous people are propagating the mistake.

I am not in charge of anyone here, just myself.

It would depend on the subject matter and how egregious the information.  I may do it in a comment or privately... but always with respect.

If I made a mistake, I'd like someone to reach out and help me to correct it. I would do the same with others, send DM or call. I would not do or enjoy the comment publicly, though...

I have not yet personally been in that situation, and it would depend on what the subject was Joseph Domino 480-390-6011.  Today it can be hard to be tactful, because what is acceptable to some, would not be to others - and some are very sensitive to criticism.  I probably would not say anything, though if I did, it would be as 'painless' as possible.  I know one time I misunderstood a question, and my comment back was probably not pertinent - people were kind to me and didn't correct me.  I realized this the following day, and just let it ride itself out.  My comment was one of many, and I learned from other's comments. 

I have sent an email through the system to let them know, and I have received some to correct my errors, thankfully.

I learned long ago that I can't fix stupid.  If it's someone I have a good relationship with, I'll reach out to them privately and start a discussion... maybe it's something new or I had it wrong.

Making people "wrong" publicly or otherwise, even if their position is incorrect ... is just not my thing.  

If I read something that is wrong and it hits a nerve, then I would try and contact the person if possible. We are in a time of so called "fake news", and not just political stuff and we should all try to post things on the internet that is truthful. However, I'm yet to come across fake news, just people saying it's fake, but not telling me why or correcting it with the truth

It depends what they say.

Many writers will tell you that presenting something that is NOT PERFECT gets more response, more engagement than the complete piece.

I would assume the error was intentional and use my best skills to present the alternative.

I've never seen that here but it is possible. We just had a question the other day on IDX that was interpeted incorrectly.

I would state my opinion & then let it go. It reflects on the author so why worry about it?

It depends on how important it is and how wrong they are.

Probably not unless I know the writer then I will contact them offline.

If I see something I know to be factually wrong, I contact the pereson privately to suggest it could be wrong.

Let it go, why start something that may turn to bite you in the end.
