When all that latest and greatest comes around, we ask who is using it, and can they afford what we are selling...it would be like putting a high end jewelry store in a 7/11 store.  It has to make sense and reach the right people. Otherwise, it is a colossal waste of time.  A

Michael McGlynn I have not used Snapchat with my clients yet.

I use Snapchat but it's only for fun stuff with my clients.  I don't really do a market update report with a filter of rainbows flowing out of my mouth!

We are using more Instagram for the younger people. Snapchat is used by one of our agents to communicate with friends, but never for business.

It sdoes not work with my buyers but Instagram has heavy usage and you can get well known with it.

No have not used it and not aware specifically of colleagues who are, but no doubt it is catching on

I don't, I post to our Facebook Page, Linked-In, Twitter, Google+, etc. I know a lot of teenagers like Snapchat, of the two I'd go with IG.

Facebook is for old people, snapchat is for young. I do not use it, my kids do. But if I need to download it to communicate with a client, i'll do it in a heartbeat. One of my clients recorded houses we were touring sharing them with his followers. We realtors can do it every time we preview a property, etc. 

Yes but been there done that over it. Tried it a few years back when it started, waste of time-not my demographic.

Yes, the younger generation loves snapchat and instagram. That is where they hangout. They also watch a lot of youtube and like Youtube Red. If that is your market, then that is where you need to be. 

I used Snapchat before I aquired this new company, I don't have time now. But IG, yes. 

I do use instagram once in a while

       I set up accounts for Snapchat and Instagram, but my people are texters and emailers.

I have an agent in my office, big producer. She does not do any social media. Other agents always tell her that she needs to be doing social media. She always reply the following: "While you are on you ass doing Facebook on your laptop, I'm having lunch with YOUR client"

No, I haven't used either of these for business. We can't be on every social platform.

No; it's true the younger set likes Snapchat, but for business reasons you would want to keep a record of your conversations; Snapchat postings vanish right away.

I just can't quite get into Snapchat yet. Not saying I won't jump in fully in a year or two.

Yes, a bit of Snap. Heavier into Instagram, Instagram stories, Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, etc. All have given me business, so I make sure to be where my clients are, or could be.  And, defintely "market" my listings that way, thats my job!
