iPhone alarms, Google Calendar reminder alerts and a good old fashioned "bible": which is my day planner-pen to paper. It takes all 3 to remind me.

Been like that for years now. I always have notepads close by, even in my car.

But I use my smartphone recorder as often as I can, with the push of one button. "Note to self"....

i dont make appointments. so i cant be late :)

LOL I dictate to Notes. I write many a posts while I'm driving - by dictating my thoughts into Notes!

I have used the voice recorder but, I don't like to listen to myself so, I went back to Notes!

Write it down, take a photo, or a note on my iPhone.

I'm old school with my calendar & to do lists.  Love my iphone reminders too and use them routinely.  It all works like a charm!  ;0

I still use a notebook to write things down.

I do it all.......I write it down, write my to-do lists, add to my schedule and remindings.....and even write on my hand not to forget.

Very true, as long as they are written somewhere that they can be retrieved and reviewed later.

I use Google calendar and notes in my phone and iPad to keep me straight. I can still remember most things without getting the reminders but know that will change. 

I have been, continue to be, and suspect I will always be a list-driven person. I'd venture to guess that less than 2% of what I do is not on a list. I prefer pen and paper.  I have a notepad and pen in my car, purse, office, kitchen, and in the table next to my TV.  

All business matters are on my electronic calendar ... with reminders and follow ups.  My notepads are for lists of things to get done, grocery lists, erands I need to run, gifts I need to buy, etc.  

Let's hear it for making lists and then checking them twice, thrice if necessary -- just sayin'

Ai yi yi. I make detailed lists of everything all over my house. Invariably, I forget to take the list. Then, I have to remote view what was on the list to begin with. Which I usually can. It sucks to be me LOL

Guilty... gotta have my list and delayed text reminders.  And, I'm not ashamed to asked for my senior discount either.  Happy Thanksgiving, Richie.

I use Notes because what ever I post there will show on my Ipads, Laptop and desktop. 

I rarely use pen/paper anymore for notes or reminders.  I use my iphone and it syns to my laptop, desktop and ipad... There's no fogetting..  If I have an appointment on a Monday morning, I usually put a reminder in sometime on Sunday afternoon..

I use the calendar on my phone and the task feature to remind me of things and times. I still like to write to do lists though. I also keep a dry erase marker on the bathroom counter and write reminders on my mirror at night.

I have not explored the “Reminders” function on iOS, but I do feel like I have to get everything I want to do, in my calendar on my device. Thank goodness for syncing 

My memory is pretty good but I do try to document and I put appointments into my memo minder

Use what works best for you. Everything should be recorded in the contact records in your database.

If it's not on my calendar it probably won't happen.

I haven't tried that yet.... so far so good with remembering and/or writing it down on a "post it"

     That's what my lawyer says about documenting phone calls, showings, text messages, discussions, meetings.  "If it isn't in writing, you have nothing to present in Court.  It never happened."

I agree, my mind becomes too forgetful.

While my Google calendar is essential to me I still write a lot of notes to myself Richie Alan Naggar .

I write everything down and have lists upon lists. If I don't have pen and paper I send myself an email. -Kasey

Richie Alan Naggar I never did write down a todo list or anything. I do make up a milestone list to make sure everything gets done for a closing.

Same way here, i have to write down at least every evening a review of the next days appointments and tasks. Using the reminder function is a great tool

Richie, I'm starting to use my phone more and more. Too many snippets of paper get lost on the sea of paper on my desk.

I keep pen/paper with me everywhere - and I always have my phones notepad

Google Calendar.  I put on reminders as tasks from 9-9 so they stay up there on my phone all day long.

I have an old fashioned notebook in which I scribble EVERYTHING business every single day and have since I became in broker in California in 2009. Lots of scribbles, excerpts of phone conversations, phone numbers when I get the calls. It helps me mostly on a daily basis, but has refreshed my mind on some occasions when I do need to go back. It works for me.

I live by my calendar and reminders. I don't know if I could keep it all straight without them.

So true, if it doesn't get recorded somewhere, there's a good chance "it" will vanish forever...
