This company has been around for a long, long, long time.

PRO - They have endured the test of time. The stuff works and even those who do not work the Stumpf stuff find value in the program.

PRO - They like to go deep.If you are a learner, a student ready to learn, your teacher has arrived. Work the stuff and it will work for you. The deep human nature learning is empowering.

Con - Did I mention they have been around for a while. What that means is the current product is stacked on top of their 'in the beginning' stuff. Just like Top Producer, what this results in is an extended learning curve and, unfortunately, operation by exception. (decoded: it works this way except when you want to do that)

CON - if you are not a motivated self learner, the library of video can easily sap your energy.

PRO - if your energy is easily sapped, it can be renewed via BRO weekly webinars.

I think the price is right and the well is deep and they actually answer their phone.

CON - do not expect them to review, edit or critique your material. You are expected to use what they invented. 

CON - yes they are infected with NIH syndrome. (Not Invented Here)

Nothing wrong with it. It's definitely time-honored. I think most of us use variations on it on a regular basis whether we know it or not.

   Way back when I was at a seminar or class of his... they wanted major $$$  for their program, so I passed.  Sorry, no experience.

Thom Abbott is a member of that, I believe. Perhaps he'll share his experience, David Martin! 

I work with Buffini & Company; Brian Buffini- who used to be partnered with Joe...and I feel has evolved better with the times than Joe. I did work with Joe back in 2004 briefly. Buffini & Company Is my preference between the two

They have been around for a while, some rainers have been happy with them.

I was a Member of By Referral ONLY  a number of years ago.  They are a great organization, however it was too expensive to stay on board.

Heard of many success stories of agents (first hand stories of agents that I have met) who had used this "By Referral Only" program and process.

I've flirted with it

He did a tape years ago that was the absolute #1 best. I don't know where it is though lol. Didn't know he did this. I might also investigate Brian Buffini.

Nver used Joe but he has history.

I've been to his presentation years ago and as far as I know he is in this business for a long time. I did not buy his stuff, but my friend did. 

I have had plenty of Joe Stumpf training over the years. I think the principles are sound.

I have heard the cost is high for what you get and I don't know anyone using his program. Talk with Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor,CRS,e-Pro about Brian Buffini as an option.

I went to one of his introduction seminars 10+ years ago. It was ok, but I wasn't sold. If people wanted more, they had to whip out their credit cards. That sales tactic infuriates me. " This program cost's $5000.00, but if you buy it today, you can get it for $4295.00" at the time, Joe Stumph, Mike Ferry, Brian Buffini, and Floyd Wickman seemed to be the most popular coaches in this area. I'm sure people could find pros and cons with all 4 of those.

Nothing good or positive to say ... I've never been one to pay thousands of dollars to become a sheeple. 

I've heard good things but not tried it myself.

David Martin I have no personal experience, but a friend took his seminar. He has been using it for several years with success.

When first exposed thought it was too expensive so I passed!

Nothing wrong. I've attended a few of his seminars, but found Brian Buffini's approach to working be referral more to my taste.
