I post it exactly as they wrote it.  Spelling and grammatical errors are a pet peeve of mine, but I don't want to change it as it may offend them.  If they are gracious enough to provide a testimonial for me, then I accept it the way it is.

This is an excellent question. And my answer is, leave it exactly as they wrote it.

I'd just publish it. Then the next buyer who doesn't use grammar properly will know I am a grammar-neutral agent. Haha

Correct typos? Yes.  Change the grammar? No

A quote is no longer a quote if edited - so it depends on the way in which the words will be utilized.

Perhaps it depends. Maybe not publish at all if it could lead to embarrassment.  That would be a better judgment call.

I am with many others here. Like Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers I will correct spelling but not grammer. That said, most of my clients give me permission to change or edit as I see fit. 

Post it as written or don't post it!

 Edit serious errors.  Leave the rest alone.

I never would correct. We are not perfect and any flows even in grammar is fine with me. The meaning and intentions are more important and greatly appreciated. 

Depends on how bad the grammar is. If it takes away substantively from the content, then I'd fix it, with their permission.

It depends. If they were trying to call you an "angel" but it came out "a hole" I might want it corrected.

I think that puts you between a stone and a hard place..... grammar is a reflection of one's education! I'd edit it....

I would edit the grammar minimally and the spelling.

The public sees what they see.  Who am I  to judge.

John Wiley I would not change it. Your clients heart is in the right place.

1st, I will consider if an extract would serve the purpose better.

2nd I will consdier if this clients reads the recommendation later, will they notice or be notified of this oversight? Do take care to not cause shame on those helping you.

3rd, present the issue and offer to correct for their final approval.

Finally, the agent should commit to getting FIVE testimonials from the client that addresses, individually,  each of the five question all sellers have regarding the agent they hire. 

After all, they hired you because they found the answers (perhaps unknowingly) to enable them to make a decision.

Boy that is a hard one.  I hate to change what they wrote.

The only edits we make are mis-spelled words. I want them to be in their own voice and how they talk - not ours.

I don't know how you edit it anyway! Are you sharing it somewhere besides where they originally posted the review, John Wiley?

I would not post it if it's poorly written, nor would I feel comfortable editing it. If you did, you'd have to ask the writer permission, I would think, and that might be embarassing to them. 

Reviews can not be touched by realtor. Sign in,  ipaddress and location must be from clients.

I'm not big on asking for recommendations from clients or for that matter, taking pictures of them after successful closing. I treat my customers just like a doctor would. When you a searching for a new doctor, do you look for or ask them for testimonials? As for your question, I would not change the grammar, but  decide on weither or not I would post it.
