I have had those hanging in my garage twice in the last two weeks. Our house isn't for sale though. Actually have never run across it in a listed home. Lots of mounted heads and antlers around here though. Gotta love Idaho and Wyoming. -Kasey

I have never had hanging fresh meat in any of my listings, or in any homes I've shown. That would certainly be an interesting showing!

We've had the potential with some listings farther out of town but, none like that as of yet.

Um, never in my listings. I can't quite make out what those are from the pictures. I did look in a garage of a home I was showing and they had taxidermied monkeys of some sort. That was pretty surreal.

True story: A man locked his dog in his garage while away with a fresh deer kill hanging just like in your picture. Three hours later he returned and found the dog lying on its side with a swollen belly and a third of the suspended kill eaten. They had to cut open the dog's gut and remove the all food. The dog lived...

I have never seen that in a listing I have shown. Most of the listings are in the city and subdivision houses. It is that time of the year and we do have plenty of hunters around so I guess I should be prepared.

      There's a dead hog on the side of the road that runs through St. Marks Wildlife Refuge, maybe a mile from my house.  He's gotta weight 350 pounds.   Unfortunately, rigor mortis has set in.

I was introduced to reality when I moved to Bend. I enjoyed looking out the kitchen window at a field behind my house with 2 steers in it all year long. One day in fall, I heard noise in the field and saw the butcher hanging up the steer he had just killed and draining the blood.  The other steer was running around frightened. I couldn't look, but did peek later and saw the second steer also hanging up. Reality if we eat meat.

I would have to say never.

I really wish I had not had to see that this morning.  

Barns maybe; although have been in many homes that you could hang meat!

So far the number of times its happened to me has been ZERO!

I wish I could UNsee this image. It is extremely disturbing and I know for sure I never have seen such and unlikely will see it in vegan/vegetarian/peace loving SoCal. 

Not so much in the metro area, but if I show rural properties, we could.  If the home is for sale, would definitely recommend hanging this in another house!
