I try not to worry about things where I have no control.  

We've gone to war before without all those things happening. I am not in the prognostication business and frankly haven't heard much talk of this in my area. People are more concerned with rising health costs, rising gas prices from the Houston floods, taxes, etc.

I am not a worrier - I take it on the chin and will adapt to whatever is thrown at me/us! 

I survived the worst economy of my lifetime and worst market since the Great Depression-why would I worry about a war somewhere else?

Bring it and see what I do; we've been at war most of my business years, I adapt and overcome.

I have no more control over those items then I do over the price of Apple stock.

I'm more concerned about a civil war than any other war right now.  But, like Michael Jacobs I have no control over it so I have my say when it's time to vote then work to stay on the positive side and carry on.  

  Bring it... there is always a way to make a profit.

I don't worry about tomorrow because worrying doesn't change anything. Will I lose my leg tomorrow? Will my clients fire me? Will my wife leave me for a Hollywood star? Will Yellowstone erupt and wipe my town off the face of the earth? Will we go to war with Korea and see a major impact to our economy or possibly lose loved ones?

I can't control any of those. I put my trust in God and do my best with what He's given me.

let's not think about that now.... if it happens, it happens and we will deal with as best we can....but for now, keep pumping out business while it's here....don't miss a beat....

Going to was is a concern for everyone.

That's why fighting 'over there' has always been the better option.

Right not the threat to my business is a low pressure system approaching the Florida Keys.

So far I'm not seeing any changes in the real estate market (yet). Fingers crossed!

I just don't let myself go to the gloom and doom place. War will undoubtely impact eveyone ... not just real estate. 

We can't really control those things, but if they do happen, there will be an overwhelming market opportunity as well.  Prices may come down, rates would definitely be down, and many buyers would be able to enter the maket who are currently priced out.

There's opportunity in every market, we just need to know how to adapt.

IF we where going to war with North Korea, it would be a very quick one, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Yet, something has "spooked" the real estate market here I think. Its not acting "normal", well like it has the past months, if you would ever call that normal.

I don't believe we are headed there. Kim would have to hit us or an ally .

People will still need to live someplace.

This wont really be a "war". More like a slaughter for them. War is an interesting paradox. We know the obvious downsides but jobs, rebuilding, enormous funds moving around & other major benefits come out of it. It resets and defines all involved & their positions as well as beliefs.  

More than a stock option erosion. In our area people put downpayment from stock options. With an Apple, Google, Tesla wiped out you can bet there will be many less people able to qualify for mortgages. With that being said I lost out a home near Apple bid $230K over was not even contacted by listing agent for more rounds of countering. Bottom line: It is tough to get anything near high tech center. San Francisco homes are still appreciating way over national average.

This constant wagging of the dog is a concern for all of us, and for the rest of the world.

With this guy as our SecDef, this will be the quickest war in history.  This is the guy who busted out the MOAB and put nukes on the table for N. Korea.  I've never been so excited to be alive!!!!!  Especially since CA is in the cross hairs.

We shall only see what happens!  

This would be beyond my job description to worry about. We just have to keep plugging

It should be a big concern in my area since we are the home of the 101st Airborne Division. I hope it doesn't happen.

It will affect my peace of mind.

There will be some issues but if we keep our heads it won't be as bad as the doomsdayers say it will
