My only recommendation is to look in the mirror.  Row. Row. Row your own boat ... follow Barbara Todaro's lead and market like you mean it.  If we focus on the bells, whistles and shinning objects we are focused on the wrong target.  It is so easy to go down a rat hole when most of us already have what we need to manage our business.

    I  DIY using Outlook.  Not very high-tech, but it works.

     If you do an Internet Search (as suggested by several of our esteemed colleagues on this page), most of the results will be attempts to sell you leads. 

     When you do come up with a solution, market it and make money from it!

Google CRM's and much will appear. There are a ton of  posts in Active Rain on managing leads. But sorry, no help with books or education material. Again, I would google the subject and see what comes up.

For me, I am not a tech geek so I made my own.

You should preface this question with HOW you pursue your business. Those of us that have used/looked at a lot of technology would then understand what might work best for you and recommend accordingly. I use HubSpot. It's designed for sales/marketers that do a lot of calls and/or get leads from websites. It's the best CRM I have seen though I DO NOT currently recommend it unless I am dealing with someone that makes A LOT of phone calls. For small teams or a reasonably organized and producing real estate agent or team FOLLOW UP BOSS is the only game in town. Nothing and I mean NOTHING that I have looked at comes close to be as effective and FB is the only technology where literally every single real estate agent or broker I have referred to it gives it TOP marks. 

I tried various systems and not fit my needs so I developed my own. The best system is the one that you like, are comfortable with and works for you. Maybe try the AR Product reviews and see if there are any suggestions there.

I would just use ''search'' to find blog posts about it. Many members wrote excellent entries where they shared their experience, good and bad.
