Believe it or not, our State Association arranged a conference at a location in the woods with very sketchy cell service.  Everyone was huddled in one little corner of the conference center to make calls.  Can you say RIDICULOUS?

No, and that would be tough if you were hoping to get calls or make calls that are business-related Will Hamm .  That being said, I have been in homes that do not have great cell service (and that's even with large companies like Verizon), and have had to move from one end of the house to another just to have a call where people could hear each other without static or just getting random words.   

Yes, we drove to Alaska and much of Canada and several of the towns we stayed in had no coverage. It was kind of hilarious because when we hit a spot of coverage our phones would go crazy with all the messages, emails, texts, calls.-Kasey

I never stay in hotels, so no.

  I use 4 different carriers.   Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Century Link.   At least one of them will work.

No, that would be hard to handle. 

Yes, and it's paradise.

Generally we can get it anywhere, though we do need to do a lot of searching for a signal in the mountains.

But when we are working along the Canadian border, especially in the NE,  the Canadian signal dominates and we need to be very careful so as to not rack up Canadian roaming charges.

I was in a special NAR Board of Directors meeting in Chicago to vote on realtor.com changes. We had to give up our electronics for 3 hours. I began to understand addiction.

Sure. 1st thing is to find the highest part of town & see if you can make a call there. Sprint has an app that will tell you where the service is strongest. I'd use something like that.

Uhm, I live in a town where cell service is spotty I do not get service at MY house but my father and fiance do! It is kinda crazy but also nice I think.
